  7:00AM 11:00AM Cass County Extension and Conservation Summer Camp   Cass County Extension & Conservation Board are hosting a series of Summer Day Camps this Spring and Summer. Registration forms are available at the Cass County Extension Office or online at www.extension.iastate.edu/cass. There is a $10 registration fee for all camps which includes all camp supplies, and a snack. A medical information form will be required for all youth.   7:00AM 11:00AM Cass County Relay for Life Bake Sale   Bev's buddies will be holding a bake sale at the Cass County Memorial Hospital Atrium on Thursday May 22nd from 7:00AM to 11:00AM. (Located at 1501 East 10th Street in Atlantic). All proceeds will be going to the Cass County Relay for Life. We will also have a Pampered Chef consultant set up to take orders that day. 20% of those sales will also be donated to Cass County Relay for Life.

  12:00PM n/a Atlantic Kiwanis Meeting   This Thursday, May 22nd, at 12:00 pm, the regular weekly Kiwanis’ meeting will be located at the Atlantic Pizza Ranch. Paul Hansen, from the Hansen Hunt Club and Kennel, will be sharing with us about the Anita Sporting Days. Please join us.   2:00PM n/a Cass County Health System Womens Program   The Cass County Health System Women’s Health Initiative is offering an educational program Thursday, May 22, 2014. Kim Kopp and Peggy Perkins will present a program at 2:00 pm at the Anita Public Library. Kim Kopp, RN, CWOCN, is the CCHS Wound, Ostomy, Continence Director. She will speak about bladder health and incontinence. The program is free of charge and no pre-registration is necessary.   4:00PM 6:00PM Friends of Library Reception for Meredith Scherb   The Friends of the Library will be holding a reception for Meredith Scherb, head librarian of the Atlantic Public Library, on May 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Atlantic Public Library conference room. Cookies, punch and coffee will be served. Meredith Scherb will be leaving on May 28th. Everyone is invited to wish her the best in her new endeavor.
 
  5:00PM 7:00PM STEM Festival   Cass County Extension and the Southwest Iowa STEM Hub are bringing science, technology, engineering and math fun to Cass County. The “Celebrate STEM” Festival is at the Cass County Community Center. Youth and families of all ages are invited to come explore STEM through hands-on learning and investigation. This event is open to the public and there is no charge to attend. No pre-registration is required, and attendees are invited to stop in and stay for as long as they can. Any local business or organization that would like to participate is encouraged to call the Cass County Extension Office at 712-243-1132 for more information on this event!
