  11:00AM 2:00PM Hot Dog Luncheon Fundraiser for Relay for Life   Hot Dog Luncheon Fundraiser for Relay for Life. September 28th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Camblins Addition of Sunnyside Park in Atlantic. Serving: Hot dogs, chips, soda, water and cotton candy. Cost is $3 per meal, $1 extra for soda/hot dog.   5:00PM n/a Wray Carroll Benefit   A benefit for Wray Carroll will be held September 28th at the Avoca fairgrounds. Dinner at 5:00 pm with hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, chips and beans. There will be a silent auction during dinner, a live auction at 7:00 pm and a dance at 9:00 pm with music by Killer Rabbitts. Wray has been diagnosed with renal cancer and is currently taking treatments at UNMC. Monetary donations can be made to any Rolling Hills Bank. Auction donations are accepted by Gary Soetmelk (712-307-0268), Roger Dau (641-431-0749) and Duane Nielsen (712-249-6073). Wray is married to Ann. They have three children; Garrett, Delaney and Erin. Wray is an Avoca and Walnut area native and long time John Deere mechanic in Avoca.
