  7:00AM 1:00PM Moped Safety Class   A Moped Safety class will be held at the Farm Bureau Insurance Building in Atlantic. Cost is $40 - Call 243-6343 to register.

  7:30AM 12:00PM Atlantic BPO Does Rummage and Bake Sale   The Atlantic BPO Does Rummage and Bake Sale will take place at the Elks Lodge Dining Room - 5th and Poplar and will feature a variety of kitchenware, furniture, costume jewelry, collectables, books and more.
  8:00AM 9:00PM Griswold City Wide Garage Sales   Griswold City Wide garage sales will be held on Saturday, May 4. Maps will be available at MJ's Grocery and Casey's General Store on Saturday.
  8:00AM 12:00PM Carson City Wide Garage Sale   Garage sales throughout the town of Carson, IA and at the Carson Community Center, 316 South Commercial. Maps of the sales will be available at the Community Center.
  8:00AM 10:30AM Plant Sale   The Cass County Master Gardeners are holding their annual Plant Sale on May 4 in Atlantic. It will start at 8:00 AM and be held at the Cass County Community Center, 805 W. 10th. Come early as plants sell quickly.   9:00AM 1:00PM Bake sale and Salad Luncheon   St. John's UCC will host a bake sale and salad luncheon on Saturday May 4, 2013 at the Griswold American Legion Building located on Main street in Griswold, IA during City Wide garage sales. Bake sale will begin at 9:00 A.M. The Salad Luncheon will be served from 11:00-1:00 for $5.00. There will also be a raffle for centerpieces. All proceeds go toward St. John's church kitchen remodeling project. Everyone is welcome to attend!
  1:00PM 4:00PM Hitchcock Pioneer Skills Festival   The Hitchcock Pioneer Skills Festival will be held on Saturday, May 4th at the Hitchcock House, which is located 6 miles south of Atlantic and 1.5 miles west of Lewis, IA. The festivities will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. You will have an opportunity to visit the historic Hitchcock House and see many of the skills and crafts that people of the late 1800’s used in daily living. There is a $5 fee/adult for a tour of the Hitchcock House. All activities in the barn are free of charge; donations to the Hitchcock House will be accepted.
