  All Day Griswold Optimist Sandbox Project   The Griswold Optimist club will be filling sandboxes in the Griswold Community School District today. They will fill an existing box or provide a tire if needed for no charge. Free will donations benefit youth programs but are not necessary. Call 712-778-2676 and leave a message with your request.
  All Day Oak Tree Opry Fix The Roof Fundraiser   A 3 day series of concerts will be at the Oak Tree Opry in Anita with the funds going to fix the roof on the Pioneer Music Museum. Concerts are at 7pm Friday the 19th, Noon and 7pm on Saturday the 20th and 10am and Noon on Sunday the 21st. Special guests are numerous including Rick and Harriette Andersen, Francis Hahn, David green, Lee Muller, Billy Dunbar and more. Tickets are $7 each for all 5 shows for $20.   9:00AM 11:55PM Schildberg Committee celebrates Earth Day   The Schildberg committee invites everyone to help keep Schildberg’s and Atlantic looking their best and celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 20th at 9:00 am in the west parking lot at Schildberg’s Recreation Area. The Schildberg committee, along with the Atlantic Boy and Girl Scouts will be picking up trash around the lakes and along the roads.
  9:30AM 12:00PM Used Book Sale at Atlantic Public Library   A used book sale will be held at the Atlantic Public Library from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm on April 20th. Hard cover books will be 50 cents, paper backs 25 cents.
