  All Day Kiwanis Builders Club/ STAND Can Fundraiser   STAND - Students Taking Action Now 4 A Difference is raising money for the Kiwanis Club of Atlantic's Eliminate project with the goal of eliminating tetanus from the globe. To help out simply take all of your recyclable pop/beverage cans and bottles to the MCF Can and Bottle Redemption Center (10 Linn Street) and assign the grade (6th, 7th or 8th) that should receive the money.
 
  1:00PM 6:00PM Walnut Public Library hosts Scholastic Book Fair   Walnut Public Library will host a Scholastic Book Fair during National Library Week, April 8th thru the 13th. The Book Fair will be open Monday thru Friday from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13th. Also, on Saturday the 13th, best selling author and former Walnut High School student, Michel (Hack) Prince will hold a book signing of her new book "The Guardian's Heart" which recenly received a Best Book Review from Long and Short Reviews. Michel is the daughter of Walnut resident, Isabel Zworak. For more information about these events call the Walnut Library at 784-3533.
